VILLAGE of ST. JOSEPH, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
The following commission members were present: Mrs. Robert Kelly
(Chr.) r1r. Ben Kremer, ,Mr. Ollie'Lesnick, Mr. Al l\1aleska (Sec.) and
Mr. Roman Reber (Counc i'l rep.)
Mrs. Kelly distributed copies- of the Local and Urban Affair News-
letter to all commission members presceTIt~.
Mr. Reher stated that Mr. I'1ike Nierengarten had made Imow his
plans his plans to construct'a new house to the east of his present
house. A variance would first have' to be sought, as the new house
would be only 5' from the village street property.
Mr. Al Torborg of the St. Joseph Creamery was- present and stated
that the Creamery was planning to install a 23' tank, for the storing
of liguid nitrogen, a farm fertilizer" After a short di~cussion
concerning any hazards that could exist, the Commission found no
objection to said tank. Mr. Torborg also stated that the ally
ajoining the Creamery property was not being used and that he wished
to have it vacated. He was told that this matter would have have to
be presented to the Village Council.
Moved by Mr~ Lesnick and seconded that the meeting adjourn.
