VILLAGE OF ST. JOSEPH, PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
The following commission members were present: Mrs. Robert Kelly
( chI', ) Nr. Ollle Lesnick, 1'11' . Ben Kremer, flIr. AlMaleska (sec.) and
Mr. Roman Reber (council rep.)

Bécause some members expressed doubt as to when there terms expire,
Mr. rebel' stated that he would find out the expiration date of all
the 60mmlssion members.
After a short discussion concerning the placing or~a trailer house,
by Mr. Othmar Dierkhising, in an area that is in violation with the
Zoning Ordinance, Mr. Lesnick moved that the Planning Commission
ad/ise the Village Council that I'1r. Dierkhising be allowed not more
than )0 days to place the trailer house in an area that is designated
for that use.
1\11' s . Kelly reported on a meeting she attendted in St. Cloud, concerning
the forming of the Metropolitan Area Sewage Study Advisory Committee.
Tlie Ivrinn. Pollution Control Agency has ordered the area to become
involed in joint pl~nning for sewage disposal. The Agency has outlined
an 80 sq. mile area whiGh would be serviced by the same sewage facility.
The municipalities will include St. Cloud, Haite Park, Sauk Rapids,
Sartell, and st. Joseph.
The Committee will be composed of two representative from each
Municipaliti. The representatives for St. Joseph are not, as yet,
named.
The officials of St. Joseph were also informed by the county auditor
of a county wide comperhensive sewage study. The study "(ITill not include
the city of St. Cloud, but will include the village of st. Joseph. The
study is to be funded by theF.lf.A. Tt\fo repre£tatives are to be named
to repersent St. Joseph for the study.
Minutes from the meeting of Nov. 17 were read, and accepted as
read at the beginning of the meeting
