(The followlng commission members were present: Mrs, Robert Kelly (chI'.. ) , rvlr. Ollie Lesnick, Mr. Ben Kremer, Al Maleska ( s e c .) and Mr. Homan ~council rep.), also attending the meeting was Mayor George Gustin.. .' Minutes from the meeting of July 6, were read, and accepted as read. 1'11'. Guétin stated that he had received alletter from Mr. Kennth Hopky, the' Stearns County Planning THrec tor, Concerning a county wide sewer study, TfJhich 1rVill be páid for by the Farmers Home Administration. Itu was noted that if the Village 1tJished to apply for Feder81 funds at a later date it would have to t8ke Part in said study. After a short discussion, Mr. Ollie Lesnick made a motion which was second , that the Village should tal¡:e part in said study. Mr. Gustin also noted that several companies, wishing to locate a plant in a small town, had requested information as to the labor force, utili ties, and etc. He said there ì'Jas no current information with which tò reply. For the purpose of dtaining said information, it was suggusted the sec. contact N.S.P. which had a booklet printed in 1962, called an Invitation to Industry, and the Sta.te Employment Service lVIrs. Kelly reported on a meeting she at tented at the St. Germain Hotel, I concerning Outdoor rleceartion Grant Programs, a smnmary of which has been attached. I'-1r. rebel' suggested that, as Sentor Henry Harren of Albany is a member of a Park and Natural Resource Committe. the sec. should contact him for information and perhaps ask him to attend a Planning Commission meeting. Mrs. Kelly stated that she received information concerning a hearing to.be held at Richmond on Aug. 27, 1970, for the purpose of establishing a County Park Commission, containing 5 members. The responisbilty of the Commission would be tò report to the County Commissioners as to the needs for outdoor recreation in the county. Meeting adjoured at 9=)0 By sec. Al Maleska I
