VILLAGE OF ST. JOSEPH, MINN. PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING.
The following commission members were present: Mrs. Robert Kelly
( chI' . ) , Hr. Ollie Lesnick, Mr. Rudy Gapko, Mr. . Ben Kremer, Mr. Don
Post, Nr. Al IVIaleska ( sec. ) and Mr. Roman Reber (con. rep.).
Minutes from the meeting of Aug. ) t were read, and accepted as read.
Motion was made and> second that the Commission found no objection
to Mr. Sal Schneider's plan to annex tb the Village a portion of his
property, aOjoining his Trailer Court, and to vacate the east, 1^Jest
Fir St~ and an ally there-in. Providing a large enough area, for
snowplowing and etc., is installed at' the subsequent dead end of the
south, north st. which he plans to layout.
Discussion on the George Schroeder property consisting of a 40 ft. x
50 ft. lot and trailer house between First and Secortd St. South. A
member of his family had inquired as to their plans of selling the
present trailer and perhaps move in a larger one~ It was suggested
by the Commission that because nQ other trailer house could be
moved into that area acording to the Zoning Or., the trailer house
could ~e rented out untill the lot could be sold to an adjoining
property owner.
f'ir., Maleska reported that the Minn. Department of Economic Development
and the<State of Minn. Employment Service would both aid in completing
a community profile to be used as a r~onse to inquiries concerning
an~Yindustrail development in the area. Blank copies of the profile
were given to some of the Commission members, for reasons of compiling
information
