st. Joseph Joint Planning Commission Meeting
The Village Council met in joint special session with the st. Joseph
Planning Commission on Monday, March 20, 1972, with the following
members present: Mayor George Gustin; Councilmen Roman Reber, Harvey
Botz and Clerk Bob Johnson. Planning Commission members present were:
Chairman Mrs. R. W. Kelly, Ben Kremer.
Purpose of meeting to review and examine information and briefs relating
to HUD and Metro Planning Commission. Reports of meeting with College
and Metro officials presented. Metro requested resolution approving new
construction at College that Village can provide facilities. Written
briefs of information were presented to all members present for further
study.
Motion has been made by John Redmond seconded by Ben Kremer to pass the
following joint resolution to approve the new apartment-dormitory com-
plex project at the College of st. Benedict and attest village is capable
of providing sewage treatment facilities. Vote was unanimous.
Motion has been made by Roman Reber seconded by Harvey Botz to approve
resolution. Motion carried unanimously.
Motion to adjourn made by John Redmond seconded by Harvey Botz.
