ST. JOSEPH JOINT PLANNING MEETING
March 10, 1975
Present: City - william Bruemmer, Ben Kremer, Ron Klein, Paul Brinkman.
Township - Al Theisen, Al Torborg, Erv Studer, Glenn Deutz. I
Council Representative - Hugo Weyrens.
Meeting call to order at 8:10 p.m. by Ben Kremer. Minutes of February 10, 1975
were approved as read.
The letter sent to Great plains Lumber concerning the present zoning of Jerry
Rennie's property was read to the Planning Commission.
A motion was made by Al Theisen, seconded by William Bruemmer to grant a build-
ing permit to Borgert Concrete for construction of an office in their present
industrial area. Such building must meet all requirements of the present build-
ing code including property line setbacks. Voting "yes" were william Bruemmer,
Ben Kremer, Ron Klein, Paul Brinkman, Al Theisen, Al Torborg, Erv Studer, and
Glenn Deutz. No negative votes were cast. Motion carried.
A general and lengthy dtscussion was held on further annexation of township
property into the City of st. Joseph. Hugo Weyrens, council representative,
informed the planning committee of upcoming meetings on March 26, 1975 and April 3,
1975 where invited guests will discuss some of our present areas of concern.
Motion to adjourn at 9:30 by William Bruemmer.
