ST. JOSEPH JOINT PLANNING MEETING
August 11, 1975

Kremer, Mrs. Robert Kelly.

City Council Representative - Hugo Weyrens.
st. Benedict's Representative - Mike Ryan.
Meeting called to order at 8:10 p.m. by Ben Kremer. Minutes of July 14, 1975
approved as read.
Al Torborg stated that he was called by Milner Carley Engineering Firm on the
behalf of Mr.*Harold Rothfork. Mr. Torborg stated that Mr. Rothfork was con-
sidering a request for rezoning of property north of the City from agricultural
to residential. Part of the property lies in the City and part in the Township.
Thirty-two (32) lots would be plotted in the property under discussion. No
legal description was given, though a sketched map was presented. No formal
action was requested at this time, but merely presented for our information and
future consideration.
A copy of a proposed Joint Resolution for Orderly Annexation to the City of st.
Joseph of lands in st. Joseph Township drawn up by John Knapp was read by the
secretary and discussed.
The question of lot size and frontage in future annexed areas was discussed.
The question of how land could be annexed to the City and kept open for devel-
opment by local people was brought up. The whole question of financing needs
I further study.
Motion to adjourn at 9:50 p.m. by Glenn Deutz seconded by Paul Brinkman.
