ST. JOSEPH JOINT PLANNING MEETING
September 8, 1975

Present: City - Al Maleska, Paul Brinkman, Mrs. Robert Kelly, Ben Kremer, Ron I
Klein, William Bruemmer.
Township - Al Theisen, Glenn Deutz, Erv Studer, Nick Froehle.
City Council Representative - Hugo Weyrens.
st. Benedict's Representative - Mike Ryan.
Meeting called to order at 8:00 p.m. by Ben Kremer. Minutes of August 11, 1975
were corrected to read Mr. Harold Rothfork instead of Mr. William Rothfork. Mr.
Rothfork was "requesting" rezoning in place of "considering" rezoning as it reads
in the minutes.
Mr. Thomas Jovanovich, who works for Attorney Dale Mossey, asked to be placed
on the agenda of the City planning Commission meeting on October 6, 1975 for the
purpose of obtaining a variance to build a multiple dwelling on property be-
longing to Mr. Robert Gamades. The property lies east of the main st. Benedict's
entrance.
Mr. Ben Kremer read a letter sent from Avon Restoration Company requesting in-
formation on victor Bovy's property (Lots 1 & 2 of Block 21) just east of Kay's
Cafe. The request will be handled by the City planning Commission as the prop-
erty all lies in the City limits.
Mr. Hugo Weyrens reported on the joint City-Township meeting of August 28, 1975
with respect to the annexation questions. He felt progress has been made with
two zones presently being considered for five and ten year annexation periods.
Next meeting of the joint directors will be on September 25, 1975. I
Motion to adjourn at 10:00 p.m. by Ron Klein seconded by williàm Bruemmer.
