JOSEPH PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING March 7, 1977 Meeting at 8:30 Present: Paul Brinkman, Bill Bruemmer, Ron Klein, Marlene Schroeder, Mrs. Robert Kelly, Chairman Ben Kremer, Representative from st. Benedicts Mike Ryan, Representative from City Council Mike Husen. 1. Post Office proposal on Ash Street 86 X 198 lot size 40 X 60 building with loading dock All of lot 9 and East 20 feet lot 8, block 11 of st. Joseph. 86' on Ash Street Ray Krebsbach land owner Question to build there, also amount of traffic on Ash Street arose. After much discussion it was determined that there isn't many lots available to build Post Office and that we don't act on this anyway. This property would have eight customer and four carrier parking spots off street. Building Inspector is to look it over. 2. st. Joseph Plumbing & Heating Purchase of lot in Rothfork triangle by railroad 4900 square feet 290 deep 200 wide Service road up to it 3. Bruce Dickau Representative Serra Club on water quality Appeared before use inquiry Interest in seeing a presentation on non-point pollution control They want public feed back so they can get regulations to control polution in: 1) Fertilizer used and amount 2) Filtration from construction 3) Pesticides 4) Septic tank run off into stream Suggested that at our next meeting, April 4, 1977, that we and Township Planning Commission along with 5-man Board see this. Ben Kremer would contact township. 4. Ben Kremer reported that the 5-man Board approved Cloverdale Estates They did have a change - that East Able Street be straightened and that three lots would have to be given a variance because they are less than 10,000 square feet. 5. Letter from Mr. Chapman was given to each member. They are to read it over and be prepared to discuss it - especially Exhibit A. 6. Mrs. Kelly moved to adjourn and Ron Klein seconded.
