ST. JOSEPH PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING
September 26, 1977
I The regular monthly meeting of the st. Joseph Planning Commission which normally
meets,the first Monday of each month met after the special hearing, September 26,
and will not meet October 3.
Members present were: Ben Kremer (Chairman), Ron Klein, Marlene Schroeder, Mrs.
Kelly, and Mike Husen, Council representative.
Mike reported on the following items:
1. By resolution the Council enacted for the City of st. Joseph the state
housing code.
2. The comprehensive plan will be reviewed in the coming year.
3. The vacancy existing on the Planning Commission will be advertised in
the st. Joseph Hitching Post. Suggestion by Marlene Schroeder that
Marlene Klett and Iver Linnemann be asked if they were interested. Also,
Dave Keller's name was suggested. Mrs; Kelly will contact Iver and
Marlene S. will contact Marlene K.
Mrs. Kelly reported on her conversation with Chris Haeglie, st. Cloud City Planner.
She inquired about the availability of literature for Planning members in order
to keep up to date with other communities. The publication, Zoning, was suggested.
I The Planning Commission decided to have Bob Johnson, city Clerk, subscribe to
this publication for the primary use by the Planning Commission.
Meeting adjourned. Ron Klein made the motion, Mrs. Kelly seconded.
