Special Meeting of the St. Joseph Planning Commission

City Council Rep. Mr. Mike Husen
Meeting called to order at 7:40
Reason for the special meeting was to start working on up
dating the Comprehensive Plan for the City of St. Joseph.
Discussion of the memorandum form John Miller of the A.P. O.
The items that were added for the Comprehensive Plan revision
were student population which is to include both St. Johns U.
and the College of St. Benedicts, Pleasent Acres, Park useage
and all land areas adjacent to the City of st. Joseph.
Mike Husen stated that the CDmprehensive Plan could take six
to nine months to complete.
General discussion followed on special use permits and the lack
of enforcement. Also discussed of non~conforming uses, ie
Daniels Funeral Home.
General discussion reguarding parking requirements, ie Dr.
Wetterling, Williams Funeral Home and the old First State Bank
