HomeMy WebLinkAbout[04h] 2015 Peformance Measures Survey Results \[4h\] Council Agenda Item MEETING DATE: June 15, 2015 AGENDA ITEM: Performance Measurement – Adopt Resolution 2015-020 Accepting St. Joseph’s Performance Measures Results SUBMITTED BY: / FinanceAdministration PREVIOUS COUNCIL ACTION: Council adopted resolution 2011-014 declaring 10 performance measurements as developed by the State’s Council on Local Results and Innovation. The Council declared the May 2015 survey questions on April 20, 2015. BACKGROUND INFORMATION: The 2010 State Legislature passed Statute §6.91 allowing cities to participate in a standard measures program to provide communication to its citizens on annual basis. The Legislature directed the State Auditor to establish a committee to identify ten (10) standard measurements as the minimum measurements each city should adopt. A copy of the committee’s report can be found on the State Auditor’s website. The City declared the minimum ten (10) performance benchmarks listed in the report prior in 2011 for the City to be eligible for a per capita reimbursement of $0.14 per capita annually. For 2015, the survey was conducted and results received prior to July 1, 2015 to be eligible for the 2015 per capita reimbursement. The results of the May 2015 survey are enclosed and are available on the City’s website. The survey includes comments from 32 respondents. Only city residents were allowed to respond and duplicate responses were not allowed. The State Auditor’s office requires a 2015 resolution to accept the results prior to July 1, 2015.
