I~nutes of St. Joseph Planning Commission
May 19, 1980
Members present: Ben Kremer, Art Budde, Tom N~han, S. Kathleen Kalinowski,
Phil Durkee.
Visitors: Tom Javonovich, Jerry Cyphers, Mike Husen, J. Landwehr
The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Jim Landwehr showed blueprints of the Clov8rdale Estates, 2nd Addition
Townhouses, including floor plan, set-backs, and building specifications.
The question of whether wind energy towers and solar collectors should
come under height exceptions on variances was discussed.
A discussion continued on the zoning ordinances for R-l, R-2 and R-3 districts
with primary focus on lot sizes per dwelling unit. Comparisons with other
nearby cities were noted.
Next regular meeting will be June 2.
