Visitors: Bill Pritchard, Roman Reber, Ed Deloney, Mike Husen. A public hearing was called to order at 7:55 p.m. Bob Johnson was the secretary. The hearing was requested by Bill Pritchard of Reinert Homes to ask for a variance to the building set-back requirements for the Cloverdale Townhouses in block 2 of lot A. The townhouses have some projections and corners that fail the requirements, although the average of all projections and recesses falls within the set-back requirements. The "as-built" survey has revealed these violations. S. Kathleen moved that we recommend the granting of a variance for the front and backyard set-back requirements. The motion was seconded by Tom Nahan and passed unanimously. -- A second request was made for a variance to the side-yard set-back requirements for accessory buildings, in this case garages, for the C10verdale Townhouses. The ordinance requires that the side-yard ........,.,.,.. set-backs be at least 20 feet. Two garages are 10 feet and one is 15 feet, although two of the garages are adjacent to lots which are part of the common property. Previous reviews of the construction blue-prints had not detected the set-back violations. Ben Kremer moved that a recommendation be given to the City Council to grant a variance. It was seconded by S. Kathleen and passed unanimously. The public hearing and meeting adjourned at 8:40 p.m. fß,~ J)vVv~ I
