I1eeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Discussion began with the specifications for PUD: the percentages
of a PUD tract to be allowed for commercial and multiple-dwelling
units, specifications for maximum density, and alternative methods
for designating density. The PUD section of the Zoning Ordinance
was tabled until a later time when various alternatives to specify-
ing density could be outlined and their implications described.
Review continued for other sections of the Zoning Ordinance. Dis-
cussion arose in the consideration of the R-2 zone: Should it
remain as a separate zone to serve the purpose of creating buffers
between R-l and R-3 or Commercial zones? Should it include single-
unit dwellings with lot sizes of 8000 square feet since that would
violate the Orderly Annexation Agreement? Should it include only
duplexes? Should it be deleted as a separate zoning designation?
