MINUTES OF ST. JOSEPH PLANNING COMMISSION
June 1, 1981

Tom Javanovich, Bob Johnson
Meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m.
Jim Landwehr presented a preliminary plat of the Brechtold piece, west
of Park 'I'errace. ~he proposed development would contain 47 single-
family dwellings, retailing in the $60,000. range for house and lot.
The most practical sanitary-sewer would be. a gravity-fed line connected
to Cypress Drive line. The financing for utilities would probably be
by means of city bonds. Bob Johnson proposed a dedicated alley between
Park Terrace and the new development to act as a buffer. More information
will be brought to the next meeting.
Discussion turned to the review of the Zoning Ordinance. A decision was
made to drop the PUD classification and retain only the PURD. The
percentage of land use for multiple-dwelling units in a PURD was agreed
to be set at 2~/o. Other parts were reconsidered and reviewed. The
joint review by the Planning Commission and Council was completed.
Meeting was adjourned at 10:35p.m.
