Heeting: November 2, 1981

Guests: Mike Husen, Bill Gillespie and Tom Skahen.
1. Mr. Gillespie and Mr. Skahcn have purchased the building formerly
used by Creative Woodcraft. They intend to use this facility for
the manufacturing of bulk milk coolers and also s('lling other
dairy industry equipment. Their trade name is Sunset Supply; they
are a national company. They requested permÜ;sion to attach a large
trailer to the building to be used as a temporary office for one to
two y~ars. They also asked for information regarding preparation (,f
a loading dock.
RESOLUTION: No action was required because their request is in
. compliance \\'Í th the City Ordinance.
Nr. Husen extended a welcome to the City on behalf of the City Council.
2. Preparation of an official map of the City \.¡as again d-iscussed.
· Decisions need to be made regarding classification. of the Roske,
Scherer and Wasner properties. Discussion focused on the pros anù
cons of designating these properties residential, commercial, or
industriaL No decisions were made. This topic will be considered
at the next meeting.
J. Mike Husen announced dlat the development of area roads \.¡ill be
negotiated with the City-Township ^nnexation Board. This is a City
Council decision.
[I. Mike "usen indicated that Tom Rothfork has indicated a desire to
have a public hearing to request a change of designation of his
property from industria] to residentLÜ. The rat ionale for the
present property designation was disclIssed hriefly.
The meeting adjourned at 9:45 p.m.
