1) The first part of themmeeting was a public hearing of the Board of Appeals
of Adjustments regarding the request from the College of St. Benedict for
setback variamce to erect an ént~ance sign at the corner of West Minnesota and
)rd Avenue.S. 'ltl . A motion was made to recommen~ to the City Counsil that a
variance be graJíl.ted. The motion was seconded and passed.
2) Letter of Notification by City Counsil.
Public hearings on the zoning map, the zoning ordinance and sub-division
regulations will be held July 8, 1982 at 7:30 p.m.
3) Land Use Survey
APO wo~ld like feedback on the idea of having zoning policies and lana useage
policies comparable in all municipal governments of the area. Their goal is
the establishment of common policies for land usage.
Concern was expressed by Commission members about the definition of pr~me
agricultural land and the recommendation #8 regarding St. Cloud Crossroads
and the west end of St. Cloud as primary commercial areas.
