Minutes of St. Joseph Planning Commision
September 13, 1982
Members present: _. S. Kathleen Kalinovlski, Art Budde, Tom Nahan, Ben Kremer,
Phil Durkee, Hub Klein
Others present: Mike Husen (Council Laison), Hugo Weyrens, Mike Strickler,
£e~e Rothfork, Dave and Ray Pfannenstein, Jim Kacures, Jim Krebsbach.
Meeting was called to order at 7:30 p.m.
Jim Krebsbach from Krebsbach Chevrolat described the future planned uses of
purchased property adjacent on the east side of business. He asked that a
public hearing be scheduled to consider his request for a special use permit
- "ddì+ìclla,l. ... gasolig~';!s~ new set of gasoline pumps will be built. The hea,ring
was set for October 4.
Pete Rothfork wishes to build a car wash and self-service gas station on
the property east of Hollander's. The area is zoned industrial. He asked
for a public hearing to crunsider his request for a special permit to
build in the industrial zmne. The hearing was scheduled for October 4.
Ray and Dave Pfannenstein with ßee Wollak req~ested information concerning
procedures for repl~t~nt the former Dr. Kelly property ~[ which Ms. Wollak
is now the owner. They widh to divide the property into two lots, one of
which wbu~~be 9200 square feet. A public hearing to c~nsider a variance
and a -.. repl(J"tting are necessary. A hearing was set for October 4.
Jim Kacures form Floral Arts Shop on Date St. asked whether his business
could be ewanded. The area is zoned industrial. The new ordina~ce prohibits
expansion of business with non-conforming uses (11.03 of Zoning Ordinance).
