Kathleen Kalniowski, Art Budde, Tom Nahan, Ben Kremer, Hub Klein, Phil Durkee Others present: Bob Johnson (recording secretary for Zoning Board), Mike Husen (Council liaison), Jim Krebshach, Roman Reber, Steve Dehler. The Zoning Board of Adjustments and Appeals was called to order to conduct a public hearing on a request for variance from sign ordinance by Krebsbach Chevrolet. A motion was made by Art Budde to recommend to the Council the approval of the variance. A condition was attached to the variance recommendation, viz. that the present "Phillips 66" and "RC Cola" signs be removed. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. The minutes of the Planning Commission from December 6 were read and approved. A second public hearing of the Zoning Board was called to order to consider a request for another sign variance by Linneman's Store. A motion was made by Hub Klein to recommend to the Council the granting of the variance. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
