Kathleen Kalinowski, Hub Klein Others present: Mike Husen (Council laison), Brian Kelly Meeting was called to order at 7:45 p.m. Mr. Brian Kelly has a house used as a single rental unit with 6 bedrooms at 310 Old Hi 52. Last year 8 persons lived in the unit. He has not yet filed a rental registration statement. He inquired about the provisions of the Zoning Ordinance and the Housing Maintenance and Occupacy Ordinance, what he needed to do to come into compliance, and what procedures are necessary to obtain rezoning. Roman Reber reported that several landlords had not yet filed their rental ~egistration statements and were now in violation of the city Ordinance. Among the viola~ors are the owners of the mobile home park. They may be charged a delinquincy penalty of 5% of the license fee for each day of operation without a valid license (p. 19 of Housing Ordinance). The con- sensus of the Planning Commission was that Roman should send a second notice 6f requirement for registration under registered mail with a warning that a citation for being in violation of the Ordinance will be issued within 10 days.
