Minutes of St. Joseph Planning Commission
November 7, 1983
Members present: Ben Kremer, Hub Klein, Art Budde, S. Kathleen Kalinowski,
Mike Husen Council laison.
Others present: Leander Meyer
1 ) The Planning Commission reviewed thA request for replatting of Lot 7,
Block 1, Cedar Village II to Cedar Village III addition. It was moved
by Art Budde to recommend to the Council approval of the request. Motion
seconded by Hub Klein. Motion carried.
2) Leander Meyer purchased land 45' X 66'. He had a building permit to
build a garage. Now the county wants approval of the subdivision from
the City Council. Bob Johnson called him regarding this requirement
which surfaced when the deed was filed. It was moved by Hub Klein to
convey the southerly 45' (by 66') of lot 5, Block 5, of the original
town plat. The conveyance of this parcel will not cause the other remaining
portion (the northerly 53' X 66' of Lot 5, Block 5, of the original
town plat,) to be in violation of the Subdivision Regulation 1982 or
the zoning ordinance 1982 A. Seconded by S. Kathleen Kalinowzki.
