Minutes of St. Joseph Planning Commission
September 9, 1985
Members present: S. Kathleen Kalinowski, Art :Budde, Ben Kremer, Tom Nahan,
Phil Durkee, Hub Klein
Visitors: Ross Rieke (Council laison), Bob Johnson (City Clerk and secretary
of Zoning Board of Appeals), Roman Reber, RayPFannenstein, Dave Pfannenstein
The Zoning Board of Adjustment and Appeals was called to order at 1:30 p.m.
for the purpose of conducting a public hearing to consider a request for
variance from side-yard setback requiremeats to construct an accessory
bUilding(garage). The request was submitted by Ray Pfannenstein, 217
Minnesota Street East. A motion to recommend the granting of the variance
was made by Hub Klein. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
The hearing was called to a close.
The Planning Commission then continued with its regular business. The
Minutes from August 5 were read. They were correoted with an addendum to
paragraph th~ee concerning the Dave DanieYs property, viz. "With the sub-
division of the property, the house will have a six-foot setback from the
west lot line rather than the normal ten-foot setback." The Minutes were
then approved.
Since no other business was brought forward, the Commission adjourned at
8:30 p.m.
