HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985 [12] Dec 02 l~nutes of St. Joesph Planning Commission December 2, 1985 I Hembers present: Art Budde, Phil Durkee, Ben Mremer, Tom Nahan, Hub Klein Others :present: Ross Rieke (Council Laison), Jim Krebsbach The meeting was called to order at 7:35 p.m. Jim Krebsbach, owner of Phillips 66 station, presented a request to change the lot lines for two lots in the business district. The lots are in Block 10, and the request is to separate a southeast section (46' X 83') of Lot 14 and a south half section (66' X 120') of Lot 7 from the existing lots. The reason for the lot division was to enable the ~~~y..ì s-i tìo1J of financing for removal of some old bulk tanks on the adjacent property and to develop' the preperty~~hich they stand. Art moved approval of the request. The motion was seconded and passed unanimously. Ross reported on the City Attorney's opinion concerning section 20.03, paragraphs 1) and E of the Zoning Ordinance and whether a rental apartment unit could òe established in a commercial building. The Attorney indicated that a special use permit could be granted if it was the opinion of the Commission to do so. Thus, the matter is, in effect, turned back to the Commission for interpretation and action. I The !1inutes from Novemòer 4 were read and approved.
