I Hinutes of St. Joseph Planning Commission
July 7, 1986
Members presant: S. Kathleen Kalinowski, Phil Durkee, Ben Kremer,
Tom Nahan, Hub Klein
Others present: RQSS Rieke (Council laison), Mike Strickler,
Dave Ruegemer
The meeting was called to order at 8:45 p.m.
The Hinutes from June 2 were read and approved.
Mike Strickler presented a proposal for constructing a garage/utility
building at the north end of the Mobile Home Park. It will be
built on lots 2 and 3 of Loso's 5th Addition and will be 24' X 28'.
Since the proposal satisfies all the requirements of the Zoning
Ordinance, Tom moved to recommend the granting of a building permit
for a structure of at least 24' X 28'. The motion was seconded and
passed unanimously.
I Dave Ruegemer asked permission to construct an identification sign
at Meadowlark Apartments. The sign ,Yill be located on the S.E.
corner of the intersection of Able St. and lOth Ave. S.E. The identi-
fication name would be on a section 5' X 2'; a section indicating
vacancy and telephone number would be 4' X l' and would be placed
below the name. The bottom edge of the sign would be about 3 feet
above ground. The sign would be set back 10 feet from each street
property line. Phil moved to recommend the construction of the sign.
The motion was seconded and passed unanimously.
The meeting was adjourned at ~:50 p.m.
