Minutes of Planning commission I
August 7, 1989
Members Present: Ben Kremer, S. Kathleen Kalinowski, Tom Nahan and Hub Klein.
Members absent: Ross Riecke, Art Budde.
Meeting was called to order by Ben Kremer.
Tom Borresch from Minnesota Home Improvement requested to build a 24 x 26
foot storage addition to existing building. It was suggested that Tom go
to the neighbor I s and see how they feel about rezoning this property to
General Business.
Mark Lambert from Cedar Street asked what could be done with his property
which is located in Industrial Zone. A suggestion was to build apartments.
Discussion took place regarding a 7th member to the Planning Commission.
It was requested to have further discussions. It was suggested that Rachel
Stapleton, City Clerk, talk to Mike Roche and see if he is interested in
being on the Commission.
It was felt by the commission that easement requirement are sufficient except
Section 32.3 Limitation of Activities in Area of Easement~
c. "Easement" - shall mean a public easement of any type, including but not I
limit.ed to an easement for uti li ty, drainage, roadway, ingress/egress,
sidewalk, boulevard and other public purposes.
