Minutes of the St. Joseph Planning Commission I

Others Present: Judy Weyrens, Assistant City Clerk, Hoss

At 7:30 p.n. Judy Weyrens introduced Fred Sandal of the APO,
who then proceeded to discuss future city planning. Sandal
displayed a land use analysis map of the city and brought the
commission up to date as to where the city has come, planning
wise, since 1979. He then talked about using a telephone
survey to assess public opinion on land use/zoning. He favored
a telephone survey over a mail out or personal survey. He
urged the commission to get the St. Joseph Township involved
in future planning, but before approaching the township to
have a plan in mind.
The comrdssion set a sub.-commi ttee meeting for Sept. 21~ at
'7:30 P.M.
The meeting ended at 8:45 P.M. I
