Fire Advisory Board
Special Meeting, July 9, 1998
at 81. Joseph Township Hall
1. Call meeting to order at 8:00 P.M.
2. Plan 1999 Fire Budget? (No budget information available!)
3. Discuss tanker and van replacement
4. Discuss Fire Department roll in 4th of July celebration and Rothfork
need of tanker to cool turkey bam during the summer months.
5. Should the Fire Department accept snowmobile and rescue sled ITom the
Snow-Joe's?
6. Fire Board may have to start charging a damage deposit for the use of
Station, due to cleaning issues.
7. Has St. Ben's made second payment for 1998?
8. Should the Fire Station be used as a shelter for the public during summer
storms?
. 9. Social Security is being taken out of firefighters checks, although there
is a State law against that.
10. Ask for Fire Chief to attend convention in Duluth.
11. Discussion of pull-tabs at Sat's Bar for the Fire Department.
12. Close of complaint review.
13. Any other New Business.
14. Adjournment.
