The Fire Advisory Board of the City and Township of St. Joseph met in special session on Wednesday,
June 11,1998 at 8:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Township Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: St. Joseph Township Representative Joe Bechtold, City Representative Bob
Loso. City ClerklAdministrator Rachel Stapleton, St. Wendel Township Representative Richard
Schleper.
OTHERS PRESENT: Mark Gross, Connie Gross.
The purpose of the meeting was to consider information on a complaint received.
The meeting was opened for discussion of specifications for re-bidding the tanker truck.
Loso made a motion to let the bids for a tanker truck apparatus, with the tanker and chassis
specifications on file, and allow Loso to further pursue a search for demo or like equipment, and open
bids August 12, 1998; seconded by Bechtold.
Ayes: Bechtold, Loso.
Nays: None. Motion carried.
The Fire Board felt the next major equipment purchase should be a rescue van and indicated one would
be available to view at the Fire Hall on June 17, 1998.
The Board set the next meeting for budget consideration for 7:30 p. m., July 17, 1998 at the Fire Hall.
