QUARTERLY MEETING
FIRE ADVISORY BOARD
WEDNESDAYt AUGUST 2t 1978
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the st. Joseph Fire Advisory Board met
on August 2t 1978 at 8:00 p.m. in City Hall.
Members Present: Chairman Fire Chief Mike Losot st. Joseph Town Representative
Del Terwey t City Representative Herman Schneidert City Clerk Bob
Johnson.
Minutes of Previous Meeting: Chairman Loso read minutes of previous meeting.
A motion to approve minutes was made by Schneider seconded by Terwey.
Ayes: Loso, Schneider, Terwey.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
Fire Signs: Board held discussion of fire signs and cost factors involved.
Material to be prepared for annual meeting.
Adapter Purchase: A motion was made by Terwey seconded by Schneider to approve
. purchase of two hydrant adapters.
Ayes: Loso, Schneider, Terwey.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
Pension Proposal: A proposal to upgrade fire departement personnel pension
from $2,500.00 to $6,000.00 was presented by Chief Loso. Proposal
to be presented to City Council and Town Board.
Fire School: A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Terwey to send three
men to fire school at Alexandria on August 19 and 20, 1978 at a
cost estimate of $345.00.
Ayes: Loso, Schneidert Terwey.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
