FIRE BOARD MEETING
August 8, 1981
Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the Fire Advisory Board of
the City and Township of st. Joseph met in regular session on Wednesday,
August 5, 1981 in the City Clerk's office at 8:00 p.m.
Members Present: Town Representative, Joe Bechtold; City Council Representative,
Herman Schneider; Fire Chief, Mike Loso; City Clerk, Bob Johnson.
Minutes Presented: A motion was made by Bechtold seconded by Schneider to approve
the minutes of May 6, 1981 as presented.
Ayes: Bechtold, schneider, Loso.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
Department Physicals: Joe Bechtold indicated Town decided on a position of "hold"
on fire department physicals with a recommendation that new personnel
-, coming into the department in the future receive a physical examination.
- Quarterly Report: A motion was made by Bechtold seconded by Schneider to approve
quarterly financial report (April 1 to July 1, 1981) as presented.
Ayes: Bechtold, Schneider, Loso.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
Glove Purchase: A motion was made by schneider seconded by Bechtold to approve
purchase of 12 pair of regulation gloves for department. (Budget item.)
Ayes: Bechtold, Schneider, Loso.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
Adjournment: A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Bechtold to adjourn at
8:35 p.m.
Ayes: Bechtold, Schneider, Loso.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
