FIRE BOARD MEETING
December 10, 1986
The Fire Advisory Board of the City and Township of St.
Joseph met in regular session on Wednesday, December 10, 1986
in City Hall Annex.

representative, Leo Sadlo; Fire Chief, Dick Taufen; City
Clerk/Adm. Rachel Stapleton.
Min~~§§~ Minutes of the August 7, 1986 meeting were approved
as presented with a motion by Bechtold; seconded by Sadlo.
Ayes: Bechtold, Sadlo, Taufen.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
9~ª[~§[lX [iDªD£iªl B§EQ[~~ A motion was made by Bechtold to
pay the Pension Relief Association's yearly amount of $9626
out of Joint Operating Fire Fund revenues for this year;
seconded by Sadlo.
Ayes: Bechtold, Sadlo, Taufen.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
~g~iE~~n~ [!:!DQ~ Sadlo made a motion to invest an additional
$10,000 in the equipment fund; seconded by Bechtold.
Ayes: Bechtold, Sadlo, Taufen.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
[i[§ ºhi§f B~EQr~§~ 1} Capital Outlay requests for 1987, the
Fire Hall roof and drying tower needs repair; when 911 system
in implemented will need to convert pagers and radios to
operate within the system.
2) The Chief also discussed an incident involving two firemen
and the repercussions and the departments handling of it, as
contained in the Chief's files.
