and Bernie Schloemer stated that Bob Heim may not be uble to
attend this meeting, because o.f a p:cio:c commitment, and Bob

Discussed we:ce the similarity of" taz rates, similarity and
d if" f e:cences of ordinances, sou:cces of revenue, services, and
needs of the residents and property o~,/n(?r·s.
Joe Bechtold stated that the ta:,:: r--ates a:ce very simila:c. Bob
Loso stated that o:cde:cly anne::--:ation should be considered.
The Tmmship SUpŒT'visürs VI t?:ce opposed to considera-tion of
orderly anne)::ation, but stated that services cCluld be
provided at varying levels to dìff"erent districts. Also th,?
special needs oÍ the fùrme:cs should be considered th-cough
:cepresentation.
The status of the southeast po:r-tion of -the Tovmship 'Y18S
questioned. It "r16S stated that this portion could go to an
adjoining government, o:c be retained by trH? TO'YlD3hip o:c 8
merged entity,
Joe Beeh-told stated that Sartell and Le Saul-: agreed to
orderly anne}:ation after many meetings, and much ,.study. They
have many di:f:ferences and less property area, hut probably
IH~e population.
The grclup fE'lt that the Comprehensive Plans should be
compared, prior to the ci'ty adopting the upduted ).-'2';' isi Ofl.
Also discussed \'¡as the Transportation Plan, of 'the City and
Township. The TO'rrnship has adopted a plan and the City is
currently considering one along with thE' ComprehensivE.' Plan.
