Officer YOI.mg stated that he would like to see the wages i nCr~ease added to the individual steps. The City spent time and r~e s 0 I.\"r~ce s establishing a pay scale, which IfJa s app...~oved by pay equity, and it should be kept in line. If the i nCr~ease we'r~e pooled the gap IfJould dect~ease between the classifications of positions. The Counci I is not awa...~e of most of the daU y functions, and does not have the r~esour~ces to evaluate them.
