discussed their disappointment in not t~eceiving tt~anspot~tat ion maps as

by Steve Deh 1 e¡-~, own et~ of the Linnemë\nn Inn. Both the Council and
Planning Commission ag'r~eed that the pa'r~king lot needs to be of a hal'~d
sl.n~face, with the pa¡-~king designated. Loso stated that he is in fa v Ot~

that the total plans be t~eviewed by the Building Inspect Ot~. The plan
t~eview should include specifics as to the layout, pat~king and mechanics
of the building. Hé.1zen ¡-~equested the Building Inspect Ot~ be invited to
a joint City / Planning Meeting to discuss theit~ concet~ns and the
building needs of st. Joseph. The Commission also discussed the
¡-~equit~ements placed on othet~ pt~opet~t y when t~emodeling Ot~ building, and
if consistency is appat~ent . Both Boa¡-~ds ag'r~e ed to 'r~eview this matt et~.
Becommendation~ 9( thg PlanniQ.!l Commis,sion:_ )1ayot~ Rebe¡'~ commended the
Planning Commission on the Ì'r~ pet~f ot~mance and stated that the Council is
s uppo¡-~t i ve of their decisions. The Council will continue to follow-up
on the ¡-~ecommendat ions of the Planning Commission.

questioned the pt~oced u¡-~e once a special use Ot~ va¡-~iance is issued.

to take a m ot~e aggt~essive appt~oach in the follow-up on these mat t et~s.

County with the King's Inn. In an effo'r~t to p¡-~e vent a similat-'
situation in St. ,Joseph the cut~t~ent Ot~d i nance should be ¡-~ev i ewed fot~
completeness and enfot~ceabi lit y. Mayot~ Rebe¡-~ instt~ucted the City
Of'fices to contact the City At t ot~ne y, John Sche¡-~et~, to t~eview the
Ot~d i nance and make a recommendation. This mat t et~ will be placed on the
agenda fot~ the next joint me~?ting.
