Mayor Mike Loso; Councilmen Donald "Bud" Reber, Steve Dehler, Leo Sadlo, Ross Rieke; Clerk/Adm. Rachel Stapleton. M1DY~~§1 Sadlo moved to approve the minutes of the Sept. 4 meeting with the correction to the Military Leave portion; seconded by Reber. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. Hª§~~ Hª~~r 8§§~§§!:!!~nt Int~r~§tl Dehler moved to defer the interest on the assessment to January 1, 1987 if allowable; seconded by Rieke. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. Ç1~rkL8gm~ g~EQrt§l Assessment Hearing notices were sent out; Two Noise Ordinance violations were reported by Police Chief. ǪQ!lªl Qyl1ªY B§qY§~l~~ Maintenance Dept. requested to purchase two steel bin storage units for maximum cost of $125 apiece; and a 1984 Ford pickup for $4500 with trade in of 1974 pickup. Sadlo moved to defer approval of the pickup until the special meeting on Sept. 25 for time to look at it; seconded by Reber. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. Reber moved to approved the request for storage bins maximum cost total; $125; seconded by Rieke. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. ª~çQnº AY~nY~ NB frQj~çt: Mayor and Council discussed the proposed street improvement project on 2nd Ave. NW, various ways to handle the curb and gutter and drainage problems and will find out what the property owners feelings are. 1987A Street Improvement Project: Reber moved to approve the ----- ------ ----------- -------- Resolution Ordering preparation of Report on Improvement for the 1987A Street Improvement Project; seconded by Sadlo. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. All Terrain Vehicles: Council discussed the A.T.V. problems --- ------- --------- and decided to get clarification from the City Attorney and review them with the Chief of Police before any action is taken. Loso and Sadlo will work with the City employees tomorrow on this project. Reber: Another corner lot in Clinton Village needs a variance permit. He questioned the need to go through the Planning Commission for this problem since it was known previously, but the Mayor stated the Housing Ordinance requires this. Rieke: None. Dehler: Discussed the Park Board's Proposal to move the 7 deciduous trees and stake 5 of them for $250, have Myron Felix dig out for the P-15s for $150, sod for $290 and stake and lay it for $500. t1Q!1QD~ Rieke moved to approved the proposal of the Park Board as outlined by Dehler; Seconded by Reber. Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo Rieke. Nayes: None. Motion carried. êª1ªrY~ Dehler moved to raise the Councilmen's salaries to $150 per month and the Mayor's salary to $300 per month effective January 1, 1987; seconded by Reber. Discussion- Loso stated Mayor's salary should be lower than $300. Ayes: Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke. Nayes: None. Loso abstaining.
