Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Council for
the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Thursday,
September 28, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mike Loso; Members of the Council
Leo Sadlo, Steve Dehler, Ross Rieke. Clerk/Adm. Rachel
Stapleton. Absent - Donald "Bud" Reber, due to other
commitments.
The purpose of the meeting was to establish guidelines and
priorities for the 1990 budget.
Mayor Loso called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.
PUBLIC HEARING: Dehler made a motion to hold a public
hearing on the adopted preliminary budget, as required by
current law, on October 26 at 7:30 p.m. Sadlo seconded the
motion.
Ayes: Loso, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
Sadlo made a motion to reconvene on October 27 at 7:30 p.m.
if more time is needed for pUblic comments. The motion was
seconded by Rieke. I

The Council revised and established priorities for budget
amounts for the 1990 budget.
The Mayor declared a recess at 8:55 p.m. to enjoy
¡ birthday cake, in honor of Leo Sadlo's birthday, Dorothy
Sadlo provided and served the cake and coffee. The Mayor
reconvened the meeting at 9:10 p.m.

seconded by Rieke.
Ayes: Loso, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke.
Nayes: None.
