Pursuant to due ca I I and notice thereof, the City Counc i I for
the City of St. Joseph met on Thursday, February 20, 1990 at
1:00 p.m. in City Ha II.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mike Loso; Members of the Counc i I
Donald "Bud" Reber, Steve Dehler, Leo Sadlo. Clerk/Adm.
Rachel Stapleton. Ross Rieke absent.
OTHERS PRESENT: Joe Bettendorf.
Purpose of the meeting was to designate no parking area on
Co I lege Avenue, in conjunction with plans for the CSAH 75
signal project.
After discussion, Dehler made a motion to approve a
resolution which would a I low parallel parking between Ash
Street and the east-west alley between Ash Street and Birch
Street; and prohibit parking between the east-west a I ley,
between Ash Street and Birch Street, and the east-west a I ley
between Date Street and Elm Street, a I I on College Avenue.
Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
Reber made a motion to authorize the Mayor to approve the
right of way acquisition offers and make just payment for
right of way acquisitions; seconded by Dehler.
Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:45 p.m.
