Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the City Counc i I for
the City of St. Joseph met in special session, on Thursday,
December 13, 1990 at 7:30 p.m. in City Ha I I .
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor Mike Loso; Members of the Counc i I
Donald "Bud" Reber, Steve De hIe r , Leo Sadlo, Ross Rieke.
Clerk/Administrator Rachel Stapleton.
OTHERS PRESENT: Stephanie Hazen, Bob Loso.
Mayor Loso ca I led the meeting to order at 7:30 p. m. The
Counc i I reviewed the proposed budget and discussed methods of
lowering the tax levy. The Counc i I wa.s in general agreement
to propose lowering the proposed levy for most departments.
The proposed levy was lowered from 205,964 to 192,964, to be
considered at a final budget hearing on December 20, 1990.
The meeting was adjourned at 10:10 with a motion by Sadlo;
seconded by Rieke.
Ayes: Loso, Reber, Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
