TREASURERS REPORT: Counc i I discussed the deficit ba.la.nce in
the 1983 CI inton Village Improvement Bond Fund. After
discussion, Sadlo made a motion to borrow the funds necessary·
from the 1978 Improvement Bond fund, at current interest
rate, to cover bond principal a.nd interest. payments; seconded
by Hazen.

t'1A YOR REPORTS; 1) At the APO Executive planning meeting,
funding on a local levy basis was discussed, rather than the
cur rent, per capi ta., bëlsis. 2) There has been some
discussion on t'1TC service to St. Joseph. Would liKe a.
representative to come and clisclJSS with the Counci 1, various
costs and considerations. 3) Ma.yor st.ated t hël. t Dale SëI.lo has
been sent a. request to furnish as bu i It plans of his
additions, on reproducible mylar sepia, as required by the
Developer's Agreement.

CHIEF OF POLICE REPORTS: Chief D ' Lindgren met with the

Counc i I and discussed his plans. 1) He wi I I meet with the I

3) The new squad car is here. After discussion Sadlo made a
motion to keep the old squëld car and equip the new one as
needed Nith insta.llël.tion of a light bar, rël.dio, cage, a.nd
shotgun, and repair the old car at CMS Autobody as recently
quoted Chief Lindgren. The motion was seconded by Rieke.

4) Chief Lindgren discussed the need for cël.r phones. Counc i I
was in general agreement to ha.ve him get quotes for two car
phones. 5) Chief s hO\\,led the Counc i I proposed needed
remodeling of the po lice area of the building. Hazen made a
motion to have him draw up plans and get the Building
Inspector involved, and get quotes on remodeling; seconded by
Rieke.

5) Equipment - Sa.d I 0 made a motic>n to purchase any usa.b Ie
equipment in the office, which is not oloJned by the Ci ty, for
$90 total; seconded by Rieke.

Loso made a motion to approve the purchc3.se of additional '-
office furniture and equipment, which is needed to run the
office in a professional and effioient manner, such as filing
cabinets, desks, c ha i r s, etc. not to exceed $2,000. The
motion was seconded by Rieke.

Nayes: None. Motion carried.
Hazen questioned if a.n Acting Chief has been a.ppo in tee!.
Chief requested time to get to know the personnel before
making any recommendation.
COUNCIL REPORTS - SADLO: 1) {¡fa t e I' report for 1990 was

2) City should get cost estimates on an overhead projector.
3) Motion by Sadlo to get current map update, to be hung on

returned to the City accepting the cost of living increase,
but asking that. comparable worth lSS1Je, (between job
classifications), be addressed, and would like time and one
half pay for a.l I hol ida.ys. Rieke made a motion to return the
contract as or i g i na. I I y offered. The Counc i 1 intends to
review a I I the wage levels of all positions in the City, next
June, and revise any wage levels which are found to be
