EASEMENT ORDINANCE: Dave Mehr discussed \... it h the Counc iI,
problems of junk being stored on the ea.sement area behind his
house. He was concerned because of the unsightliness of the
area and of safety of children, who may vlander onto the a.rea.
He stated that a load of dirt or gravel a.nd a. motorcycle have
been brought to the area. Also stored there are barrels wit.h
unknown contents, pa I let s, and materials under rugs and
canvas. Mr. Mehr vIas a I so concerned with possible safet.y of
unknown materials stored in the barrels brought to the a I' ea.
Aft.er discussion, Hazen made ëI. motion to check on possible
enforcement of this problem a.s soon as possible, and have
Dick do a. survey of al I properties which are not in
compliance; seconded by Rieke.

EBA LOSS CONTROL RECOMMENDATIONS: Counc i I discussed the
recommendations of the EBA Loss Control Consu I tant. One
reccommendation was installation of ëI. safety cable on the
\...ater to\...er, but this correction is not necessa.ry if the City
adopts a po I icy to prohibit Ci ty personnel from climbing the
water tower. SëI.d I 0 made õI motion to have Dick review a I I the
recommendations except the water tower cable recommendation,
and get quotes a.nd bring them back to the Counci I; seconded
by Rieke. Discussion - anything particularly hazardous
should be taken care of immediately, a.nd the minor items
should be taken care of as soon as time permits.

AMENDì1ENT TO ORDINANCE NO. 21 PROVIDING FOR CHANGE OF MEETING
TIME: Loso made a motion to approve an amendment to
ordinance no. 21 changing the meeting time to 7:00 p. m. The
motion was seconded by Rieke. Discussion - Sa.d I 0 asked if
this cha.nge is for the benefit of individual Counc i I members
or for the good of the communit.y, Rieke and Hazen both felt
that people a.re fresher and make better decisions earlier in
the evening and tha.t one half hour earlier would be helpful.
Ayes: Dehler, Rieke, Loso, Hazen.
Nayes: None. Abstain: Sad 10. r'10tion carried.
LIQUOR ESTABLISHMENTS INSPECTION REPORT: Rieke made a motion
to notify each establishment. of the deficiencies noted in the
inspection report a.nd give them 90 days to correct the
problem; seconded by Sadlo.

EASEMENT ORDINANCE: Dave Mehr discussed with the Counci ì,
problems of junk being stored on t.he eël.sement area behind his
house. He was concerned because of the unsightliness IJ f the
ëI.rea and of safety of children, who may wël.nde I' onto the ð.rea.
He stated that a. load of dirt or gravel and a motorcycle have
been brought to the area. Also stored there are barrels wit.h
unknown contents, pa I let s, and materials under rugs and
canvas. Mr. Mehr was also concerned with possible safety of
unknown materials stored in the barrels brought to the a I' ea..
After discussion, Hazen made <3. motion to check on possible
enforcement of this problem as soon as possible, and have
Dick do a survey of all properties which are not in
compliance; seconded by Rieke.
