Pursuant to due ca II and notice thereof, the City Counc i I for I
the City of St. .Joseph met in special session, on Wednesday,
July 3, 1991 at 6:00 p.m. in Cit.y Ha II.
MEMBERS PRESENT: MëI.yo r Steven Dehler; Members of t. he Goune i I
Leo Sadlo, Ross Rieke, Bob Loso, Stephanie Hazen.
Clerk/Administrator Rachel Stapleton.
OTHERS PRESENT: Stuart Goldschen, John Welsch.
APPROVE AGENDA: Ha.zen made a motion to approve the <5I.gendël.
with additions of set meeting for considering the Officer
Young matter; seconded by Rieke.
Ayes: Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke, Hazen, Loso.

BILLS PAYABLE: SëI.dlo mël.de a motion to approve the bills
paYël.b I e with the addition of Dona.baue r ~Je I I Compa.ny for
repairs to Millst.ream Park we I I , tires for the pël.tro I car,
and Metro Plumbing and Heating for a water heater for the
fire ha 1 I. The motion \l/ëI.S seconded by Rieke.
Ayes: Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke, Hazen, Loso.
Nayes: None. t10tion carried.
BAKER STREET IMPROVEMENT: St. Benedicts Convent indicated I
t.hat they would not oppose the improvement t.o East BaKer
Street, as proposed, with a. hearing on July 15, but \I/Ì she d to
discuss their costs for the project.
WATER SYSTEM PLANNING: Sa.d I 0 requested t hël. t the Counc i ¡
a I low the Engineer, Water Superintendent, ëlnd Water
Commissioner to do a comprehensive water study, which would
include the needs of proposed housing expansion ëI.nd future
growth of the City. Motion by Hazen to ëI.llow
City Engineer .Joe Bettendorf, Water Superintendent. Dick
Taufen, and t-Ja ter Commission Leo SëI.d I 0 to study short term
availability and long term needs of wa.ter, for the City of
St. Joseph; seconded by Rieke.
Ayes: Dehler, Sadlo, Rieke, Loso, Hazen.
Nayes: None. Motion carried.
