The City Council of the City of St. Joseph met in special session on Thursday,
July 22, 1976 at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.
Members present Mayor Harry J. Knevel; Councilmen Hugo Weyrens Jr., Steve Dehler, I
Herman Schneider (8:15 p.m.), Bud Reber; Attorney John Knapp.
Bob Johnson, Clerk.
Also present Bill Jones - agenda - question of issuance of off-sale liquor license,
Information requested from League not received to date. Clerk to call League
on Friday, July 23, .1976 in A.M.
Criminal Prosecution work load Attorney John Knapp letter relating to criminal
prosecutions for the city presented. Attorney cited increasing work load
as reason for recommending city engage another attorney for criminal
prosecution matters
Burlington Northern Lease Matter tabled for further study and investigation of
abutting properties.
A motion was made by Reber seconded by Schneider to approve purchase of one load
of material for baseball park pitchers mound.
Ayes: Schneider, Reber, Weyrens, Dehler, Knevel
Nayes: None
Snow Removal muethods examined - further studies to be conducted.
Motion to adjourn made at 10 p.m. I
