··0 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the City of st.
Joseph met in special session on Wednesday, october 11, 1978 at 7:15 p.m.
Members Present: Mayor Hugo B. Weyrens; Councilmen Herman Schneider, Steve
Dehler, Mike Husen; Clerk Bob Johnson~ (Absent: Bud Reber)
Others Present: James Bruemmer, City Recreational Association representative. I
Purpose of Meeting: To examine bids on Softball Field Lighting (Field B)
Project No. 78-7015. Bids were opened at 1:00 p.m. List of bidders
and bid totals were as follows:

James Bruemmer presented a resume and results of bid tabulations.
Bid of materials were missing from some of bids. Materials list
to be obtained and reviewed. Bruemmer recommended contract award
to low bidder - Watts Electric - subject to approval of all legal I
documents, bonds, insurance, etc. , as per specs.
A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Husen to accept low bid
on basis as per above recommendation of James Bruemmer and after
legal review by city Attorney.
Ayes: Weyrens, Schneider, Dehler, Husen.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
