Members Present: County Assessor office representative Bob Lindvall; local I assessor Ollie Lesnick; City Council members Herman Schneider (Acting Mayor), Bud Reber, Steve Dehler, Mike Husen; Clerk Bob Johnson. County Assessor Tom Kurpius arrived at 8:40 p.m. (after Township Review) . others Present: Nick Froehle, st. Joseph Plumbing and Heating. 7:00 P.M. Attehdance: Lindvall and Lesnick were present at 7:00 p.m. due to a conflict in board meeting notices. Taxpayers appearing at 7:00 p.m. were the following: 53469 LeRoy Rebischke, who felt the market value of $27,000 on his north side property was excessive. 86542-1 R. L. Simon, Mobile Home Court - considered value on 1968 Pathfinder 12'x 60' mobil home high. 53686 Theresa Philippi - believed market value excessive. Has five city lots and large residence. Valued at $82.50 per front foot. Assessor Lesnick to discuss matter again with Theresa Philippi, owner ($42,000 market value land and residence). 53410 Robert Hoffman - City Assessor Lesnick will review vacant building on 4th Avenue South East. 1 53425-1 Nick Froehle - questioned value placed on Plumbing and Heating build~ lng (main structure - $100,000). Assessor Lesnick agreed to reappraise warehouse property. Other parcel (Eich) still listed as Township. Lesnick explained valuation policy and methods relating to residential and commercial property. 53529-7 Gerald Bushman, 134 - 6th Avenue South East - Lesnick indicated value placed at less than purchase price. Comparison made with neighbor- hood residences. Mr. Bushman indicated he was interested in the valuation process. Motion made by Husen seconded by Reber to adjourn at 9:25 p.m. Ayes: Schneider, Reber, Dehler, Husen. Nayes: None Motion carried. I
