The st. Joseph City Council met in special session on Thursday, January 31, 1980 at
at 7:30 p.m.
Members Present: Hugo Weyrens, steven Dehler, Bud Reber, Herman Schneider. I
Absent: Mike Husen.
Police Chief: Chief Lorentz was on the agenda to discuss the Police department
policies.
Patrol Car transmission is being repaired.
Motion made by Schneider seconded by Reber to purchase four scribers
for operation ID approximate cost - $26.00.
Ayes: Weyrens, Schneider, Reber, Dehler.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
The job description for police chief and patroLmen were reviewed and
discussed.
Starting March 1st the policy for the Police Department workshift will
be an 8 hour shift with dinner eaten while on duty. Motion by Schneider
seconded by Reber.
Ayes: Weryens, Schneider, Reber, Dehler. Nayes: None Motion carried.
An invitation to the Lab School breakfast on February 8, 1980 at 7:45 a.m.
was presented.
The st. Ben's proposal for their new western entrance was presented
and reviewed.
