Pursuant to due call and notice thereof the City Council of the City of st. Joseph
met in session on Thursday, September 11, 1980 at 7:30 p.m. in City Hall.
Members Present: Mayor Hugo B. Weyrens; Councilmen Herman Schneider, Steve Dehler, I
Mike Husen; City Clerk Bob Johnson.
Purpose of Meeting: The purpose of the meeting: To allow Council to meet with
department heads to examine capital outlay requests for 1981.
Fire Chief Loso: Fire Chief Mike Loso first appeared to discuss capital requests
for the fire department: drop tank use and need reviewed with Fire Chief
Loso.
Police Chief Lorentz: Council reviewed police department capital requests with
Police Chief Lorentz.
Main t . Supt. Dick Taufen: Discussion of maintenance department and water department
capital outlay requests was held with maintenance department head Dick
Taufen.
A motion was made by Dehler seconded by Husen to approve purchase of
salt-sand mix @ 8.00 (60-80 yards).
Ayes: Weyrens, schneider, Dehler, Husen.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
A motion was made by Schneider seconded by Husen to adjourn at 10:50 p.m.
Ayes: Weyrens, Schneider, Dehler, Husen.
Nayes: None Motion carried.
