Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council Dec. 2, 1952
The Village Council of the Village of st. Joseph met in regular session I
at the Village Hall on December 2, 1952. All members of the council
wer e pr esent.
The minutes of the meetings of November 6th and 26th were read and
motion made by ReynrÜd Kellner to accept them as read. Sec. by Julian
Botz. Carried.

Motion made by Virgil Lodermeier to pay all bills. Sec. by Reynold
Kellner, Carried.
Motion made by Reynold Kellner to lev~ taxes for the year 1952 as follows:
General Revenue $2,500.00
Light 1,200.00
Motion seconded by ~1rgil Lodermeier, Carried.
Motion made by Reynold Kellner to have the clerk certify to the county
auditor to reduce the general assessment for retirement of bonds to $2,700.
for the year 1952. Secy by Virgil Lodermeier, Carried.
The following were elected at the annu~l Village Electimn held on Dec. ~
2nd 1952. Reynold Kellner, Tr~stee for 3 years. Wm. Lodermeier, Assessor
for 2 years. Wm. Meinz, Clerk for 2 years. .'.
The question of setting the salaries of the trustees and Mayor at ,.
$60. and $100. respectively was. defeated by a vot of 96 to 53.

Motion made by Reynold Kellner to approve the plans submitted by
the Highway Department of the grade levels to be used for the new
~ routing of Highway # 52. Sec. by Virgil Lodermeier, Carried.
There being no further business motion duly made and seconded to
adjourn.
