Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council Jan. 16, 1953
The Village Council of the Village of st. Joseph met inseªsion at the
I Vill~g~ Hall on January 16, 1953· Al~ members of the counCil, were present.
The minutes of the meetings of Dec. 2, 1952 and Jan. 7, 1953 were read
and motion made by Virgil Lodermeier tq accept them as read. Sec. by
Reynold Kellner, Carried.
The final estimates due Howard Ganley, Inc. for street surfacing and
A. S. Miller, for engineering were presented. Motion made by Virgil
Loderme~er that they be tabled until the next meeting. Sec. by Reynold
Kellner, Carried.
The Clerks annual financial statement was presented and motion made
by Reynold Kellner to approve the satement as'presented. Sec. by ,
Julian Botz. Carrred. .
Applications for On Sale Beer, Off Sale Beer & Cigarette licenses.
El ~aso Club, Sal Schneider, Ray Schindl~r, Edward Schneider, Art
Sauer & Lawrence Loso D/B/A/ Midway Bar, V. F. W. Club and American
Leg~on Club.
Applications for cigarette licenses:
Linnemans Store, A. J. Loso, St. Joseph Meat,Market, Jaren Drugs,
Al Stueve,' Adrian Sauer, Lee Backes.
Motion made by Virgil Lodermeier to grant licenses to the above
applicants. Sec.,by R~ynold Kellner, Carried.
