Minutes of the Meeting of the Village Council Nov. 27, 1953
The Village Council of the Vill~ge of st. Joseph met in special session
on November 27, 1953. All members of the coupcil were present except I
Virgil Lodermeier. +
Motion made by Julian Botz to adopt ordinance No. 49 as follows:
An ~rdinancecrelating to Sal?ries.of Mayor and Trustees of Council
The Village Council of the Village of st. Joseph ordains:
Section 1. That effective Jànuary 1, 1954, the salary of the mayor shall
be $ 10.00 per month, and the salaries of each of th~ trustees
of the V~llage.Council shall be $ 5.00 per month.
Section 2. This ordinànce shall not become effective unless approved
by a majority of the electors voting on the proposition at
the-annual village el-ection to be-held December g, 1953.
